Culture of Fear

“Culture of Fear” is an active four-piece band currently playing live in the greater
Tampa
Bay Area. They are dedicated to the composition of original songs using
elements of rock & roll, punk, folk, and electronica. Many of their songs relate
messages of political and social injustice, but are not limited to these topics
(love songs, ballads, songs of life experience). Culture of Fears’ ultimate goal
is to use media exposure to facilitate positive social change.
The line up is:
Chris “Cody” Carter, lyricist and vocalist. Cody is also an acoustic singer/songwriter
with over fifty original songs in his repertoire. He has written several books of poetry,
and an anthology of short stories. He and Sir MCP are currently experimenting
with the spoken word/ambient medium, two tracks of which are included in the “Mania”
package.
Sir MCP, guitar and keyboards. Sir MCP is also the owner/operator of Hear No Evil Studio in
Sarasota, Florida , and produces Culture of Fear, Mania, and Cody.
Lair Rawlins, bass and co-composer for the band. Lair, a native of
Sarasota, Florida ,
is a lso a master carpenter, set designer, and an artist using mixed media, oils and acrylics.

Lou Holiday, drummer for Culture of Fear. An artist with a unique style, Lou is also a painter, writer, and sculptor.
