I can't bear going to the dentist, but after my longtime dentist, Dr. Aaron Leavitt, left his Sarasota Advanced Dental practice, I wasn't sure I would remain a patient of his practice. I decided to try out the new staff and had my first visit yesterday and the experience was as good as it gets. They took the time to explain the x-rays to me, worked with me on a treatment plan and took full care of my fears. After the first day I called because I had terrible toothache and they really impressed me and forgot me immediately.
Everyone does an excellent job, from the reception to the dental technicians to the doctor and billing staff. I simply admire the family atmosphere they offer and the people who pay attention to my concerns and dental needs while giving me comfort and a beautiful smile. Not only do you have solutions, you also hold hands throughout the process and earn your trust. Everyone in the office is so friendly and willing to answer any questions you have, and so much more care is great.
All the staff I deal with, consisting of Dr. Sinan, Jamie, Mandy and MIsty, are all very professional. Dr. Doan is a family man who enjoys his profession as a dentist and his family as much as his patients.
His interest is in success, and Dr. Doan attends training courses to broaden his professional horizons and stay up to date with the latest techniques. Through his academic achievements, he and his wife Linda founded, organized and directed an annual charity between 2002 and 2020 to give back to underserved communities. This basic dental work offers a free day to anyone who wakes up with toothache on Christmas morning.
I stress how important it is, because if you are not feeling well, the whole appointment feels like a distortion.
To say I'm scared to go back to the dentist would be an understatement of the century. I've been waiting forever since the last dentist I went to get an appointment and I'm afraid to go, which is an understatement for this century! The front desk staff was very polite and admitted they were very busy, but they acknowledged that there is a one-year period in which you can take X-rays. The technicians checked the front office and found that we had to wait another 2 days until the X-ray was covered.
I don't like going to the dentist, so I looked for a new dentist and found that Dr. Sinan Aithraa and his staff are taking care of my situation. He made me feel so comfortable and didn't put pressure on me to do anything, but I found he was caring. I also received first-class help from his assistant and her on a recent visit.
Dr. Doan was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and came to Florida with his family when he was just one year old, according to his website.
He and his wife Linda found their way to Florida to take root in the Sarasota area and acquired the practice of Dr. Thomas W. Cail, which they renamed Exceptional Dentistry of Sarasota. In 2019, he became a member of the board of directors of the American Dental Association of Florida and was awarded the Partners for Peace Award for his charitable contributions. He is the founder of the Give Back Smile Program, where he offers free oral rehabilitation to victims of domestic violence, according to his website.
In 2012 and 2020, he was named "Top Dentist" by Sarasota Magazine and "Best Local Dentists of Sarasota OTA" in 2019 and 2019-2020. In 2018, SRQ Magazine named him "best local dentist" and in 2018-2019, "Dental Peeps" and "Dental PEPs of Florida."
In 2005, he was named one of the top 10 dentists in Florida by Gulf Coast Magazine and "Best Dentist in Florida" by the Florida Association of Dentists.
